Shift Elevate SMS Terms & Conditions

SMS consent

By providing your phone number and opting in, you agree to receive SMS notifications from Shift Elevate for scheduling purposes. Reply STOP to opt out. Message and data rates may apply.

1. Introduction

These terms govern SMS notifications sent by Shift Elevate from (385) 293-3294. Our SMS program supports assisted living and memory care staffing—including shift reminders, open shift alerts, approval notifications, and other scheduling-related messages.

2. Program Description

All messages are transactional notifications only. We do not send promotional or marketing messages. Message frequency varies based on your schedule and facility activity (e.g., as shifts are created, updated, or assigned). We aim to limit messages to no more than 10 per week.

3. Opt-In

You consent to receive SMS by opting in during mandatory onboarding:

  • During onboarding: Staff are created by a facility admin. After verifying your email and setting a password, you complete a mandatory profile form at shift-elevate.com/onboarding. In that form you enter your mobile number and must explicitly check the consent box after reading the full disclosure (brand, frequency, message and data rates, reply STOP to opt out, reply HELP for help, links to Terms and Privacy). Consent is stored with timestamp. There is no public opt-in page.
  • In-app: Manage SMS preferences by logging in and adjusting settings in your profile.

4. Message Frequency & Types

Examples of messages you may receive:

  • "Reminder: Your shift at [facility] starts at 7AM tomorrow."
  • "Open shift available – reply YES to claim."
  • "Your shift for [date] has been approved."
  • "Schedule update: [facility] – check the app for details."

5. Costs

Message and data rates may apply. Check with your carrier for details. Shift Elevate does not charge for SMS; standard carrier fees apply.

6. Opt-Out

You may opt out at any time by either method:

  • Reply STOP to any message—we will send a confirmation and honor your opt-out immediately
  • Log in and adjust preferences in your profile or account settings

Opt-out requests are processed immediately. You will receive no further SMS after opting out.

8. Carrier Disclaimer

Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. Delivery depends on your carrier and network conditions.

9. Consent & Compliance

By opting in, you agree to these SMS terms and our Privacy Policy. We comply with CTIA guidelines, the TCPA, and carrier and platform requirements for toll-free and A2P messaging.

10. Changes

We may update these terms from time to time. Continued receipt of messages after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms. We encourage you to review this page periodically.

11. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Utah, United States.
